Text Box: The Lincoln Women’s City Bowling Tournament will be held on January 28, 29 and February 4, 5 at Sun Valley Lanes.  This year’s tournament will have a similar format to last year with the exception of the “mail-o-graphic” team event.  This team event option will no longer be available and all team events will be bowled during City Tournament squad times.
This year we will be having the traditional team event that will be held during squads on January 28, 29 and February 4, 5.  This format will allow five bowlers to compete together on the same day at the same time as in years past.   We are also allowing individuals to bowl doubles only, singles only or doubles and singles.  These events can be scheduled on different days at different times to assist in those who cannot or won’t be able to bowl six games Text Box: back to back.
Squad times on Saturday’s will be at 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm.  Squad times on Sunday’s will be at 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm.  All lanes will be dressed before each squad time to allow for a more consistent playing surface amongst all squads. These events can be scheduled on different days at different times to assist in those who cannot or won’t be able to bowl six games back to back.
Entry forms can be found in the local bowling centers.  Entries will close January 18, 2006, with no entry being accepted without payment in full.  Telephone entries will also be accepted.  Entries for traditional team, doubles and singles will be $19.00 per bowler per event.  All events is $3.00 per bowler.

Text Box: The Cornhusker State Games were held at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln on July 17-18, 2005.  Participation totaled 241 bowlers, which was an increase from the previous year of eight bowlers.  There were 52 bowlers that participated in the Special Olympics portion of the tournament.
