Text Box: The Lincoln Women’s Bowling Association continues to work through the transition to the United States Bowling Congress and wants to keep its members informed.  USBC was launched January 1, 2005 and is a result of the merger of the ABC, WIBC, YABA and USA Bowling.  Going forward the USBC will act as Text Box: the national governing body for the sport of bowling.

The site will have access to averages, league awards, upcoming tournaments, tournament entry forms, board of directors, the pin patter as well as any relevant association news to include dates and times of meetings.

Text Box: As a reminder, league secretaries will be required to submit the league award cards within 30-days from the time the honor score is bowled.  The change to the 30-day window was necessitated last year to allow for all bowlers to receive their awards in a timely manner. League awards that can be earned are: Awarded once per lifetime — First 200 Game, First 500 Series, First 600 Series and First 650 Series.   
Text Box: Awarded once per year —  250+ Game, 50+ over Game, 75+ over Game and 100+ over Series.  Awarded as Honor Scores —  290+ Game and 700+ Series.
