Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. “The mission of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by advancing research, education, screening and treatment.” During the week of March 6, 2006, volunteers went through all leagues in Lincoln asking for donations for this great cause. Thank you to all those that donated and all the volunteers that helped with this great event. Text Box: 2007 USBC Women’s National Tournament: The 2007 USBC Women’s National Bowling Tournament will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. The following individuals were elected to serve as delegates at the national convention: Sandy Juricek and Connie Ortlieb. Alternates are Patty Meyer and Addie Zastrow. USBC: The Lincoln Women’s Bowling Association members voted on the newly proposed by-laws for the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). All presented by-laws were approved and adopted. 35+ Award: Fifteen new names were added to the 35+ year members. Congratulations to the following ladies on this honor. Laura G. Barry Laura P.
